Adventure
"We tripped on the urge to feel alive, and we'll chase that high forever."
Maybe there's a word for it...the longing for more...that feeling inside to go...to see, touch, and experience new things. That "feeling", it runs deep within me. Sometimes I wonder if I never had struggled with panic attacks, something that's held me back so much, would I have the same urge to connect with everything around me? Would I appreciate the little adventures as much? Would I still look at the night sky with wonder and awe? Or never tire of a sunset? I'm not sure. What I do know is that it's hard having an adventurous heart, but an anxious mind.
I've had a bucketlist since high school. I've checked things off, and added more. My hope is that my list will never be completed...that I will continue to ache for new adventures, that I'll never be too old to go after everything my heart desires, and that at the end of my life I can say it's been a crazy ride.
