Everyone has a story to tell...

...of who they are, where they've been, where they want to go.

I once heard that there isn't a person you wouldn't love if you could read their story. For me, I think that's true. How could you not love someone who has entrusted you with the very things that they are made of, the fiber of their being? How could you not love someone once they've given you a glimpse of the deepest part of themselves? Once they have placed themselves in a vulnerable position so that you can have a better understanding of who they are and all that entails?

The hard thing is, it would literally take a lifetime for us to learn someone's entire story. We only get fragments of people...chapters in their book. But no matter how small, there is beauty in each part.

Hearing stories is the easy part, telling them is much more difficult. So where do I begin to tell my story? Going back would take much more too long, though I hope you get glimpses of  my past in my writing. I have hopes, dreams, and grand schemes conjured up in my head, and I hope to give you insight into those as well. For now, we will start exactly where I am.

Where might that be? Lost in the wilderness. I am on the journey of finding myself...again. I thought my teen years were for that, but I've discovered that for me my 20s have been the most impactful and insightful years. Maybe this will be how it is the rest of our lives...always changing, always growing. It is as equally exciting as it is terrifying. I never know what tomorrow will bring, but whatever it brings, I want to document it. I want to document my ever changing life, my wildest adventures, my growing faith, and the passions that set my soul on fire. And I want you along for the ride.

"Life hasn't taken me where I thought it would, but God has taken me beyond where I thought He could."

Always, Cassie
